PT Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore North West Java manages and develops oil flow stations. It explores and produces oil and gas.

The project goal of Pertamina ONWJ (On Shore North West Java) to provide a radio link between Onshore Marunda - Offshore Papa - Offshore Zulu.

This Options make it possible to reach a link between two radios. Main drawback: the necessity of additional repeaters on the island. Although the implementation of extra equipment provides high capacity, it leads to high CAPEX and OPEX. This option wasn't accepted.

The satellite-link communication renders possible the link and needed data transmission. The Disadvantages of this option are very low capacity and very high CAPEX and high OPEX. This option wasn't accepted.

For Onshore Marunda - Offshore Papa the best solution is - Y-HAUL.

The PtP wireless communication system make it possible to reach a link for a distance of 40 km (Onshore Marunda - Offshore Papa) and 86 km (Offshore Papa - Offshore Zulu). This equipment provides data transmission with a capacity of 1~4 Mbps and lowest OPEX&CAPEX.

  • QPSK to 64QAM for longer hops and/or increased capacity;
